⚠️ HEADLIGHT WASHER PUMP – NOT THE WINDSCREEN PUMP

This distinction is important.

✅ THIS IS

Headlight / Headlamp Washer Pump

It supplies washer fluid to the vehicle’s headlight washer jets/nozzles on vehicles equipped with a headlight cleaning system.

❌ THIS IS NOT

The standard windscreen washer pump responsible for spraying the front windscreen.

For example, VAG catalogues distinguish 6R0955681 as the headlight washer pump from 1K6955651, which is used for the window washer system.
