I’m Hamzah, founder of ARTECH BRISTOL LTD. I lost my mum when I was five, and from then on cars became my escape and my focus — I was always with my dad after school, fixing and learning. I changed my first engine at ten, later trained and worked as a VW technician, and eventually moved into buying damaged cars, repairing them properly, and reselling them.

Why ARTECH Exists

ARTECH started from a real problem: I once spent weeks trying to find one hard-to-source part to finish a repair. I contacted hundreds of suppliers, stayed up late, and eventually found it. That moment flipped a switch — if it was that difficult for me, it must be difficult for thousands of drivers and garages too. I began sourcing parts for others, built systems around reliability and speed, and ARTECH grew into a parts business designed to make repairs faster, simpler, and more affordable.

We sell a mix of genuine/OEM, aftermarket, and used parts depending on what the market needs — and we aim to describe every listing clearly and accurately. Where a part is aftermarket, we say so. Where a brand name is used, it’s to show vehicle compatibility (what it fits), not to suggest a part is made by that brand unless it genuinely is. We take authenticity seriously: we keep supplier records where available, review listings regularly, and if any item is ever questioned we act quickly — including correcting descriptions, removing listings, and cooperating with reasonable requests. Our goal is simple: customers receive what they believe they’re buying.

Giving back & what we’re building

ARTECH is also my way of giving back. On many of our items, 10% of proceeds are donated to causes close to my heart — including Cancer Research UK and St Peter’s Hospice — because I remember what support meant to me when I was young. I’m a young entrepreneur with a long-term mission: to make car repairs more reliable and less stressful by improving access to the right parts, with honest descriptions and strong service.
